After checking out we headed into Nelson and had a good walk around, buying a fistful of books for over the next few days. Another stop at a supermarket to load up on a few essentials and we headed to Nelson beach. What a beautiful day, we couldn’t believe that at 12.30pm on a Saturday the beach had barely 20 on it!! What bliss! We had lunch and then I read while Em walked down to the sea and along the coastline. What a gorgeous afternoon we had.
