It was almost dark and another 150kms further on we saw signs to Springfield. We had an excursion booked at a place called the Plimoth Plantation. This is a reconstruction of the first settlement of the pilgrims that settled their colony there. The site is made up of a indian camp of Wampanoag Indians that speak the language that has been rediscovered and now spoken again ...

About to delve into the "pre-history" behind Boston I was distracted by a Facebook message on my iPhone. It was an ABC News Group update: "Actor Robin Williams is dead at 63 of suspected suicide."

"Shuzbutt!" I said.

After sharing the news with Deanne we immediately fell into an emotional ...
