Tuesday brought us more fog but we waited for the ferry from Portland to tie up before we left Yarmouth Harbor. We were in fog all the way across the Bay of Fundy. We were in touch with the Fundy Traffic Control as we crossed the shipping channel and had to slow down for a LNG tanker to cross our bow about four miles in front of us but we never saw it. As we entered Seal Cove, we were still in the fog but as we proceeded in we were able to see some land ...

Half way up the climb, there was a sign posted "shotguns are being used to shoot off parts of the tree canopy for ecological studies." Lol.....best excuse to shoot randomly in the air. At the summit of moosilauke Mountain the winds were high, I actually put on a long sleeve t-shirt! First time since the Smokies - if memory serves me ...

... morning! And we are at the hostel, time to shower and clean! ----------------add ons-------------- Not sure if this will be another thru-hike, or a long fun-filled adventure - due to these new injuries, but either way.......this is what I came out here for, to enjoy the woods, this trail, and most importantly - the people, from the townies, the angels, the hostel owners, and of course my fellow hikers - that is what makes this trail truly special - the A.T. ...
