Had breakfast with our friends from Pinellas County after a good sleep. Larry's Sausage/egg casserole was tasty. We are treated like royalty here with good food, excellent accommodations and speciality beer in the fridge. Could you ask for more?

... so tiny that the coffee shop is closed so dinner is from a nearby convenience store (a bag of mini chocolate donuts for me). Olivia arrives - she's 14 and was flying from Atlanta via Denver to Durango by herself (not an escorted minor). Back to the trailer and they help me set up a tent (the trailer's not big enough for 3 people!) by a stream. Around my tent in the small field are fire fighter "hotshots" stopping for the evening.

... Park - I LOVE THE MOUNTAINS! I can't say that enough. Every time I come to this national park, I say that. We drove up the Trail Ridge Road.
