So after the fabulous Las Vegas and the Grand Grand Canyon, we arrive to find friends in Aurora, Colorado - Bryan and Rachel Harmon. We were staying just blocks away from where the Batman massacre of 2012 occurred, but you wouldn't know it.

... was slow going. Several accidents on the main roads plus an overturned truck meant we couldn't take any of the highways. Instead we had to take the backroads and a 1hr 40min trip turned into a 3hr 15min expedition. I'm so glad we decided to catch the shuttle a day early and not have to worry about making it in time to catch our flight like the other people on the shuttle.
