An old motel that has been done up. No breakfast offered and restaurant next door not open for breakfast despite website for it giving breakfast menu. Drive to Java Joe's for a hot, well priced breakfast. Don't bother to pay extra for room with view - obstructed by buildings and trees.

People from the Upper Peninsular of Michigan are called Yoopers. We are on the southern tip of the UP in St Ignace.

As predicted the weather has turned sour and it has rained or drizzled for most of the day. We had planned a quiet day so that was good for us.

Breakfast in Paradise was danish pastries or donuts, coffee and juice …

Woke to find an overcast and very chilly day. Wind had a bite to it. It was 11 degrees C when we left the motel. Decided to go for plan B which was a tour of the western tip of the Lower Peninsular of Michigan rather than freezing on Mackinac Island.

Motel does not serve breakfast and the restaurant next door was not open at 7.30 even though they advertise breakfast on their website. Drove into St Ignace and found Java Joe's Cafe which has ...

... about their travels. A couple from Germany was parked behind us last night. They had their RV shipped over and have been traveling for 16 months. In a few weeks they will ship it back to Germany and fly home. Our tentative plan is to arrive at Niagra FallsThursday or Friday. We have all been before but none of us has taken the boat ride into the falls, so now we will. Then on through New York onto Vermont, etc. Love to all! Miss everyone! Life Is ...

... we continued cruising Georgian Bay for a couple of days and found good anchorages at Covered Portage and Baie Fine. We used our dinghy to get a little closer to shore once we dropped anchor and discovered wild blueberries along some of the shorelines. John also used his scuba gear to take a close look at the bottom of the boat. The water was crystal clear, but a bit chilly, so it was a short swim.

... charge from Trump Center in Mexico. Both were denied and the account flagged. Visa feels like these were test charges to see if they would be honored. Took about 2 hours to get the account canceled and arrange for new cards to be sent to the campground by Friday. Soooo... Change your passwords. Took a bike ride to a campground lookout point for the Mackinaw bridge which ...
