      ... festive out there. I managed to 'vas byt' and eventually got to the top and could see the forest in the distance. I sadly didn't have enough steam to drop down into the forest and visitors centre and climb back out again. So I will have to return and do this another day...but I waved at them trees from my perch on the mountain!       ... very pretty! it has a harbour for boats and after a lunch ( supposed to be light......) we wander up and down the harbour front taking in the view and admiring the yachts.       ... all of a sudden we see Golden Gate Bridge just visible through the San Franciscan mist and we know the journey's end cometh.       ... was 1am so it was a unexpectedly short journey out.

      The next morning i bumped into Nolan (Smash), Brett and Mike, the US Navy guys from the night before.We decided to go the Cherry Blossom festival in Japantown which happens for 2 weekends around Easter every year.
