As we drove southward the weather and road conditions became more treacherous as snow fell, visibility greatly decreased, and the number of icy, snow-covered areas on the roads increased. The Forest was beautiful with big snow covering the evergreen trees. Multitudes of snowmobiles took advantage of the perfect winter conditions.
