... to the mouth of the canal system and had dinner at a waterfront bar and grill. We begged off on watching the sunset in favor of hitting the hay, the time change or the gin had caught up to us!
The next morning we car pooled to a Cuban restaurant and "broke fast" together. Hugs and kisses and we were off...up Highway 41 to Bradenton and a Dove family reunion.
It's like time is literally being dragged along by myself and Dan.... I wish we could pull it a bit faster! I am so antsy to leave it's not even funny!

... the morning in Florida. We were treated to a pizza party. Then we were given our room assignments and told about room checks, lights out, and when to wake up and go downstairs for breakfast. Boy were we exhausted! All of the delegates tried to call home or make contact with home before they went to bed. a view but I think all the rooms have great views. We did not have the direct head on ocean
front room but I though our side view over the pool area was quite fine. I would say to make sure you get a room on
the NON pool side if you want to see the sunset (so a north facing room I
think) My room was 606 and overlooked
the pool and beach. We had a mini fridge
... in fact. There is a nice lady on the bus who tells you what is coming up at each bus stop and she said 'next stop Amtrak Train Station' so I got the feck off. RESULT NUMBER TWO ! I could now relax. Since I had an hour until the train arrived, I thought I'd get some breakfast. The Amtrak check-in dude suggested the local hospital cafeteria was the best option and gave me some detailed directions on how to get there. They were like, 'over there'. Dick !
