          Crater Lake is highly captivating. Impossible to take a bad photograph, I was working on a great photograph at one of the overlooks when a bird flew into a nearby tree.           ... drive right around the rim of the crater and view the lake as you go. Just amazing what Mother Nature can do when she blows her top, sort of speak.           ... the sidewalks are overflowing with people- too many people for us. We head towards the local park where we can enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens. A nature trail parallels a small creek just a short ways from the parking lot making it a great place to walk the dogs.
