The big day finally arrives
Day 22 Saturday 29/11 Christchurch-Ashburton
Cooked brekkie waiting for us! Yummy, just what we needed. Loaded up and off to Ashburton. Rooms ready so dumped our stuff and out to bus. While we're waiting we see another coffee machine (wrapped in clear cellophane) get loaded under bus. Damn! Off to the family farm at Dorrie.

Milking Fucking Cows!!!!
... aka New Zealand.
Broc got to New Zealand before me,
where he found work on a farm in Ashburton, a town about an hour of
Christchurch. Waioto was the name of farm, that had a herd of about
1600 cows through a 80 bale rotary! Small time farming!!!! For all
those Irish people who may not have seen a rotary, its a round
platform where the cows get on one side, get cupped, its spins &
they get off on the other side ...
Mein Leben auf der Farm und so
Die Tage mit Mum & Dad waren super!
Erstmal haben sie mich an deren 2. Tag in Neuseeland auf der Farm besucht. Endlich bekam ich nach fast 6 Monaten wieder Mama-Essen! Darauf hab ich mich sowas von gefreut :D
Bis zu meinen freien Tage war noch ein bisschen Zeit, also haben sie den oberen Teil der Südinsel abgereist und haben mich dann abgeholt. Es ging nach Queenstown über Lake Tekapo und Lake Pukaki, bei bestem Wetter.

Last day with Stray
... So basically, you end up running around the table to hit the ball and with alcohol on board, it makes it a lot more fun!
The added bonus was there were white water rafting helmets so we all put those on for effect. The things you do when you are drunk.
It was a fun night had by all, but we were all semi sensible and went to be around midnight as we had to lave at 7 am the next morning to get to Christchurch!

... tolle Zeit in Wellington :)
Am 08. Januar ging es dann mit der Nacht-Faehre auf die Suedinsel. Wir kamen morgens in Picton an und fuhren mit einem Shuttle weiter nach Blenheim. Dort wollten wir nach Arbeit auf einem vineyard suchen und am Besten auch finden. Wir checkten in ein Hostel ein und schrieben an mehrere Contractors eine SMS. Entweder wir bekamen keine Antowort, oder eine negative... Ich war schon wieder ziemlich genervt davon. Irgendwann hat Mirko, der das Hostel ...
