Today we are still at the RV dealers in Grand Rapids. We have everything done but the slide top-er on the right slide out room. The parts arrived today and if all goes well we should be able to leave here on Friday and head home. We will have been sitting in the parking lot for 24 days. We have gotten to know all the employee's by their first name. They all say it is going to be strange not having us coming in each day. I know ...

We found a nice campground only about six miles away and we will stay here until Tuesday, then head back to the dealer parking lot, and with a little luck we could be back on the road by next weekend. The weather is great, the fall colors are starting to show on some of the trees and hopefully we will get a little golf in on Monday. ...
Stuck in the repair shop agin
... and we want to get as much fixed on Winnebago's dime as possible. Today we found out that we had some issues that we did not know about and it is possible we may be sitting here for another week or two. We have canceled our trip to Land Between the Lakes for this year, so at this point we have no idea were we are heading next or when we are heading there. Stay ...

We wondered around the neighborhood across from us and ate our ice cream and watched the boats. In our campground there were a carved turtle and eagles that Chainsaw Willy of KY did from some damaged trees. The campground owners told us it took him 3 days and it is amazing.

Saugatuck Dunes
... first time I ever saw a dune buggy charging up a sand dune….I think it in Oregon, I have wanted to do it. I think that was the trip my Mother and I took driving the California coast all the way to upper Oregon. Mom wasn’t interested. After that, I haven’t been anywhere it was offered. As we were driving in on Monday, I saw the billboard and said, “Let’s do that!” I got no argument out of Wendell; he was all for it.
