... no sleep last night (literally, she said one hour of sleep)--we think from one of the meds the doctor prescribed. I told her to take a nap, and I went to the office and extended (again) then went to the laundry room and did laundry (really fun!).

At this point, I have no idea when we’ll be leaving. I’m hoping to make it home by Christmas, but I make no guarantees. We might make it for Maddie’s high school ...

26th April- a drizzly and overcast start to the day. First stop was a few miles up the road at Wrightville Beach which was not very impressive in overcast weather, but I am sure in high summer the place is jumping. Beach actually looked ok.
