... of how much I have missed the presence of water in my home city. Brisbane used to have a number of fountains but alas, no more. In both Dallas and Norfolk, it has been very hot. Shady glades with running water have an amazing capacity to soothe and restore and both of these cities have had these in abundance. I hope that one day, fountains will return to our Brisbane.

8/23/15 - Sunday night
We arrived home around 10PM, only to discover that our refrigerator was at 60 degrees and all the frozen and other foods were spoiled! Dex threw out the smelly stuff and we hit the sack dreaming of the songs and dances we'd left behind in Branson.
