    ... Back up top and Andy suggested we pop into the restaurant over looking the falls for a drink, well ok a beer then! What a magnificent setting, could have stayed there for the rest of the day, unfortunately we may have missed the bus :-). More walking back beside the river to Clifton hill, the Blackpool side of Niagara for a rather yummy panini and soup.     We also had free Wi-Fi for the trip as well which meant that Geoff was able to get the blog up to date as we have been so on the go we have not had enough time to spend on the blog.

    ... area reminded me of the Hawkesbury/Gosford area, with water and houses (some quite big) on the hills overlooking the river. A few boatyards and marinas, jettys. Some barges.There was a man sitting in front who had an accent like "Turtleman" . I thought that was only for TV! I imagine he might have come from one of the more southern states.     ... it almost took away some of the grandeur of mother nature. We wiggled in between the crowds to get a good shot with the falls behind us and then headed back to the car and toward the nearby town Niagara-on-the-Lake.
