So picking up where we left off… After exploring Mt Cook area, we drove further south and spent the night in Queenstown. Loved the hotel we found, called the Mercure. ... we stopped at another Beach called Ship Wreck Creek. It is again am amazing beach with some interesting walking tracks and loads of deadwood lying around. Wish I could take it home. Two and a half hours after Fox, we crossed a bridge and reached the lovely town on Haast. A little sleepy town with a few cafes and shops but surrounded by hills on all sides and clear blue skies. Had lunch at a restaurant called Wild Antelier and the sandwiches were awesome.

... Tag... das geht schon ins Geld. Deswegen stell ich mir einfach vor ich Rauch wieder und kauf jeden 2ten-3ten Tag Zigaretten, so is das Übernachten dann auch wieder umsonst. Dennoch werden Spenden jeder Zeit gerne entgegen genommen :)
Tanken geht auch ganz schön ins Geld... alle 400km Volltanken mit ca $80 pro Tank. Wer will kann mal Google Maps befragen wie viele km ich schon gefahren bin...
Jedenfalls bin ich froh, dass ich im Auto schlafen kann und nicht in Backpackern schlafen ...

... the best thing we've ever done. However it was the best thing we've ever made ourselves do! It took balls that we didn't know we had until the time came. We may never have found those balls if it was up to us to jump from the plane, but luckily that was taken care of for us. Once the jump was done with there was a massive weight taken off our shoulders and we were very happy to spend the rest of our time in Queenstown/Arrowtown pursuing much less stressful activities! ...
