Stayed the Night in Newark and then returned home today. Unpacked and did a batch of laundry. We felt good until mid-After noon and then we felt the jet lag. Took an afternoon nap and not too much later off to bed. Errands, etc tomorrow! While it is good to be home. The drive down to Western Mass was smooth sailing ...

We always love staying with Lynn-and she certainly knows how to spoil a guest! Breakfast on her new sunporch was a great way to start a relaxing day between our 2 driving days. Lynn also kayaks, so we headed to Gale Meadow lake, in the shadow of Bromley Mountain. (We hope to return and ski there this winter!) One of the things we love about an inflatable kayak is that it goes from a 3 foot package in the trunk to a 15 foot kayak in ...

... have been left as an industrial memorial.

The vast space accommodates many industrial size exhibitions of contemporary art works. Although most of what is on display isn’t among my favorites when it comes to art, the MOCA works well as a display space for exhibiting such works.

To get to North Adams I took the road through Mount Graylock State Park and up to the top of the mountain. ...
