          ... believe this. He has been fishing since he was 8 years old and showed a grace on the water that went way beyond his years.

          We worked hard - nowhere to hide in a small group of 3. Our final session was on the Battenkill River - the spiritual home of New England fly fishing. The weather was not kind - very wet and misty. None of us caught any fish but a good time was had by all. And yes, I did "get it"!

          This is an incredible gem of a museum – and I can’t thank Judy and Robert enough, since without their tip we would have missed this totally exhilarating day!

          After a peaceful few days in Fort Edward we moved on through Lock 6 and Lock 5, and we asked to tie up at Lock 4 where we intended to spend the night. Unfortunately when Marty went to talk to the lockmaster he could not allow us to stay overnight since there were big barges coming through.           We decided to have our engine parts shipped and we got a 10 day pass for the lock system: a whopping $37.50!! We moved down to Fort Edward at Lock #7 for a few nights.
