The water here is quite protected, so nearly all the boats are anchored, and they use small dinghies to get out to them. There were a few Bayliners and Sea Rays, but most were locally manufactured (which is logical). We finally got to the resort in Parksville and walked along the resort's beach briefly then decided to get some dinner. We had found a coupon in one of the ferry brochures for a discount at White Spot so we wanted to use it.
