    ... I didn't draw a very good map for Bec to find the laundrette and she spent a bit of time wandering aimlessly, but got some cool photo's in the process.
    Found a Thai restaurant for dinner that had lots of veggies on the menu so starting to feel like we've had good veggie fix for the day.
    Tomorrow it's back on the trolley and across the river to Harvard and MIT for a taste of campus ...

    ... whole house full of things is incomprehensibly unpleasant, so in this instance I am grateful for my sparse possessions. I can't even imagine how my mother was able to pack a 33 year, 5 child life and move to another continent. A huge wave of awe hits me as I consider it, much as it often does when I think of her.

    On level 50 or 750 ft in the air it is the only 360 degree view of Boston, and next door to the hotel, so I got to go up there this morning before I needed to check out! The views are amazing... I am about to pack up, check out and head to southport station to catch my train to New York Farewell Boston... I will be back one ...

    ... out I had to have lung surgery and was prohibited from flying until I had the surgery. The surgery required a 4-6 week recovery period which would be cutting it close with an October desired start date (beginning of school year). Once I told the family about my medical concerns they stopped responding and I thought my dream was kaput. Luckily I was encouraged by friends and continued on the website and found a family who was the perfect fit for me!
