We only had about a 280 mile trip today, so we headed into downtown to see the falls before heading further east. Before too long we crossed the border into Wisconsin and mad a quick stop at a rest area.
We arrived in Minneapolis about lunchtime too early to check in to our motel, so we headed to the Mall of America. This joint is massive, …

... told I have the wrong gate and must head back to where I had come from.... On your marks, get set,GO .... For some reason my ticket was invalid so they didn't even put a call out for me. If I hadn't of run to the gate, I would not have made it! I feel for the families that didn't make it, I have never seen an airport in so much chaos! Bulls were charging left, right and centre. ... how late we would actually be by the time we arrived in Minneapolis!

One final brekkie on the train, then we arrived in St. Paul, twin city to Minneapolis, nearly 2 hours late. We were learning not to plan anything specific while travelling by train here in the US. We had time to take in a quick game of table tennis at the station though - now that’s a great addition to a train station. I might have to ask Boris to add some at Waterloo! We left our bags at ...

... a lot of statues in this city which is something unique to the Twin Cities. We took a pedestrian bridge over the road to Luring Park, where we also walked around and saw the Berger Fountain, or as we call it, the Dandelion Fountain (see picture below). Again, they have really cool artwork and sculptures around here! We then went back to the Statue Gardens and had lunch at the Walker Art Center, which was also a cool place!

After lunch, we decided we wanted some rest ...
