      ... lot in Mason City, Illinois which was about 300 kms away from Minneapolis and that was pretty chilly!! We made it to Minnie the next day and stayed in a hotel for a few nights.       ... of all the billeting families and a bit of Pot Luck. Each family bought a dish and what a spread it turned out to be. Everyone mingled, chatted and talked some more. There is a reason why they call it 'Minnesota Nice'; there is a niceness here that you can't find in many places.The kids are really enjoying their family experience and now I know why.       ... our goodbyes. That's when the drama began... One of the worst nights ever! Boy was I in for some serious delays. Checking in was fine and easy but the lady told me that my flight was delayed 45 minutes. That's fine I thought, no big deal. So put my cases through and went to go through security...
