Stayed at Apollo Lodge motel in Wellington Spent a couple of days taking in the city. Loved Cuba street with it's trendy cafe's and the bucket fountain, though someone had put washing up liquid in it and turned one of the buckets upside down when we first saw it. Met up with one of suzy's old mates from the U.K Brucey Bonus, it was the first time Dave had met him but we all got on great and he showed us around town abit. Went to Wetta Workshop Dave didn't think he'd be able to get in but as w...

The kids are growing, growing,
And they will make it, make it,

... is like a shorelunch batter rather than a heavy beer batter. The fish was really fresh. I also tried the kumera fries, which are sweet potato fries and even better than the ones we have in the states. Mari, Liz and I all fell alseep in the backseat of the car on the ride home after being drunk on wine and full of fish.
Yesterday morning, we all went into a temp agency to find work. We filled out a questionaire and did some paperwork as well ...

Aha - no i jak przejezdza się przez tunel to ludzie trąbią - tak dla zabawy - w sumie zaaklimatyzowałem się i teraz sam trobię - świetna zabawa, a co!!!! ;P

We stayed for a couple of days in Franz Josef, home of the Franz Josef glacier. We went for a walk up it during the day and settled into the hostel at night. We got talking to – as co-incidence would have it – the same three Irish girls I had shared a room with in Queenstown. They were telling us how the Fox ...
... place we'd seen so far on our travels. Quickly dumping our bags and heading off in search of more pleasant surroundings, we found late Sunday afternoon shopping in Wellington to be quite enjoyable. There was a noticeable lack of large chain shops and we enjoyed poking through some quirky independent places before heading to a bar for a drink, As luck would have it we got to enjoy an exciting last 20 minutes of an NRL game on the big screen, which ended in one of the ...
Wellington, North Island, New Zealand graeme_sarah... not to follow the route but started to jump, or knock over barriers, crossed the main road and the rail track and headed for the hills! One poor lady was taken to hospital after being knocked unconcious by the rampaging sheep!!! Only 400 sheep ended up where they should have, partly being shepherded by the Prime Minister John Key - can you imagine Gordon Brown joining in something like that? Sweetness.
Wellington, North Island, New Zealand mertonkiwis... was stunning! The clouds looked like gigantic fluffy marshmellows, the grass was shamrock green, the ocean sparkling blue..... even the road itself was nice! After a afternoon of driving we ended up in Tairua, and there we found another amazing room! (Have you noticed we aren't Spaceship-ing much?) It was yet another studio apartment (used as a timeshare as well) with a gorgeous ocean view! Tairua was a great launching point to see glorious Cathedral Cove (used in Narnia ...
Wellington, North Island, New Zealand andrewandlaura... and chilled in a café. Three F18 jets did a fly past and then there was a procession of all things aussie and not... Every nationality you could think of had a group of people marching down the main road. All flying the Australian flag alongside their own. Over the top of the bands (including the obligatory Bagpipers) and singing, there was a 21 gun salute, which apparently stopped the tennis! I walked down to the river where people were gathering en mass. Turned out there was a ...
Zo eens rondgedwaald ...
