    Left Gavin's around 10.30am. So hard to leave. Gas in Minden. Spent hours in Historic Virginia City. Wish I could post pics on this iPhone cause words don't do it justice. Found a Best Western in Fernley and stayed there a night Bought another gps from Walmart as the other one wasn't recognizing towns. Long drive Wed morn 8 hours solid driving thru countryside that hardly changes Hope to stay in Salt Lake City tonight. Can someone please comment on this if they are getting ...

    ... This way we could get to see how the west was different to the East and North and South. We drove by Emerald Bay right in the South and couldn't find a good spot to pull over to get some pictures so made a note to do it the next day.
