Left Fort Lauderdale, drove down into Miami beach to check into one of USA's best Hostels. Famous for it's parties, we also booked ourselves on to the evenings night-activities including free happy hour cocktails followed by a trip to one of Miami's most famous clubs.

I woke up at 8:10 and sat in bed and blogged about our first day. Erin woke up about 8:30 thinking I couldn't sleep and that was why I was up. She then got up when she realized what time it was. ... the best of it. We headed back to the hotel to wait for the pick up. The trip out there took a little while longer than expected. Once wee got out there (Safari Park) we climbed aboard the airboat and began or Everglades tour. First 50 feet in we saw an alligator and three turtles. Then went cruising off. It's a very different feeling how the boat has to turn. After the ride we went and got seated for the alligator show. ...

Excitement, Anxiety and the Most Important Item

... me isn't luggage or a specific travel item, it's the original picture that I use as my Facebook picture. Alyssa, Bunny and I went to a Florida Marlins game in September or October 2010 and someone took our picture. This is one of my favorite pictures of our happy little family. Most importantly it shows my truly beautiful wife as I want to remember her, with a big smile and two of her favorite beings with her. This will be almost like having her with me.
