First job of the day was to finish unpacking the new bedroom furniture and switching mattresses and dressing the room, it sure does look nice, only other piece of furniture we got to get is a couch and love seat for the lounge, maybe do that before we come back in April. ... the American Flag is yours truly, then Staff Sergeant Tim Kraft. We performed over 100 color guard details that year in celebration of the bicentennial, all in the revolutionary war uniforms. The muskets carried on the detail were collector items from that era, and we were taught the musket manual of arms by the owner of the weapons, who was at that time the CO of Recruiting
