... of gold. Gold was discovered here in 1859 by W.S. Bodey and E.S. Taylor. Unfortunately for Mr Bodey, he froze to death in a Blizzard on the way back there with supplies that year. Worse still, they didn't even spell the name of the town in the same way as his. Poor chap.

... NV. Everywhere we have gone so far has been nothing but cold, snow here too. The road was good and dry, thanks for the sunshine.

Even though it has been very cold it has been a good trip so far. It's fun to see how the scenery is different when there is snow in the high desert and the mountains.
