... NV. Everywhere we have gone so far has been nothing but cold, snow here too. The road was good and dry, thanks for the sunshine.

Even though it has been very cold it has been a good trip so far. It's fun to see how the scenery is different when there is snow in the high desert and the mountains.

We wandered about on the flat bit but because of the altitude I had to go very slowly and even Dad began to feel dizzy so had to sit down. On our way back to the van we stopped at the loos but I missed a smallish curb and fell right over and slid onto the gravel. I haven't fallen onto gravel since I was a child and it bloody hurt. I had to pick gravel out of my own hand and had a massively bruised knee (a knee which is still bruised a week later). ...
