After waking up way too early (6am), we gathered our bags and went down to the lobby to catch the shuttle service to the airport to pick up our rental car. The rental car company told us to ring them when we arrived at the pick up point so they could drive the car around to us. Not thinking anymore about this we got to the pick up point only to …

We completed our 3rd day at Disneyland by visiting shows and rides that we had missed on our first two days. Steve took the older girls to the Matterhorn bobsled ride which we had missed previously and despite the nerves, was only rated a 5 out of 10 overall and not scary at all, much to their disappointment! ... best.

Next was "Space Mountain", easily the most extreme ride in the entire park. I had been on "Space Mountain" at Tokyo Disneyland and I remember it being really awesome so I was especially keen for this one. Because it was still early, there was no real line, so we waited only about 5-10 minutes - A definite luxury! Boy, was I not prepared for this roller coaster. It was indoor in the dark, made to look like you're flying through space - just like the Tokyo one - but this ...

... the counting at "3 days sober" from McDonalds (I'll give him the day we arrived as we nearly had two Sunday's anyway!) All 4 little boys and 1 big boy have all finally gone silent and are asleep......... In fact I am envious at the ease at which Mitch can just drop off, here's a story to finish off........... The 4 boys and Dale went on Dumbo the Elephants ride, Mitch and I headed to the shade (that ride spins round in a circle and I'm not going on ...
