... moms sat out, worried that they'd be soaked for the rest of the day. The ride was fun, better than the one at Animal Kingdom, though that's not saying much. We didn't get super soaked, aside from one swell that hit me at the bottom of a hill. My left pant leg was soaked for half the day.

After spending some time in the woodsy area, we headed to Paradise Pier. This area was my favorite, designed like an old turn-of-the-century amusement park pier. We got fastpasses for ...

Then it was time for Space Mountain, which again, was awesome.

After Space Mountain, my ankles really started to hurt, and I noticed they were covered in blisters and swollen thanks to my Doc Martens and my lack of appropriate socks, so we went to first aid, and they gave me some band aids.

We went on one ride here, Gadgets Go Coaster, just like Roadrunner at Movieworld on the Gold Coast.

From here we caught the Railroad Train ...

... When planning this trip I debated for a while about whether to stay at the Volcano House, Kilauea Lodge or possibly the Volcano Village Lodge. I ultimately chose the Volcano House because I love the convenience of staying within National Park boundaries and have enjoyed staying in other National Park lodges in the past.

Upon arrival at the hotel I was assigned room 9, a crater view room. This room was on the first floor and had a nice view of the crater and ...

... both the police and the people in the hotel thought we were three crazy girls and for all of us english wasn't our first language. The police and fire brigade arrive quite quickly and we directed them to the spot we had seen Sheldon, the guy and the girls. The guy was arrested by the police and the police quickly took a statement from Sheldon. OMG couldn't believe this just happened. Everyone was in a bit of a shock and if it weren't for Gioia spotting this guy he would've probably jumped ...
