Happy 10th Birthday today to sweet Grand Daughter Kristen Jane! Left Wall SD today, traveling through South Dakota. Interesting deer sculpture at the truck stop. Along this route lots of Sunflower fields and the most round hay bales I have ever seen in one area! Stopped off at the rest area near chamberlain SD for lunch. Sioux City... Actually North Sioux City which is in South Dakota as opposed to Sioux City which is in Iowa and South Sioux City which is in Nebraska. We were in all threes states within ten minutes time. We went to the Sergeant Floyd River Boat and learned much about Sergeant Floyd the Lewis and Clark expedition. Craig heard there was a candy shop downtown so we had to go the Palmer's Old Tyme Candy Shoppe and buy a bag full!
