      After 191 days, 36 states, and over 7,300 miles, it's time. That's right. It pains me very much to do this, but 6 months on the road has taken a very heavy toll.

      So, I must now officially announce that my 27 1/4" Continental Gatorskin front tire and my 20 year old, size 9 Shimano biking shoes have finally seen their final miles. The trusty tire was one especially made for touring with super tough Kevlar ...

      ... there, as the weather was warm and the water temperature was perfect also to partake in all of Toms constant excursions and activities! We would boat or jet ski everywhere we needed to go.       ... enjoyed a delicious breakfast platter of buttermilk pancakes, eggs, turkey bacon and a cup of coffee. It was delicious as always.
