Enjoyed music at the RYMAN THEATER – original home of the Grand Old Opry. Once a beautiful church (you still sit in pews) it’s known at The Mother Church of Country Music. On stage were mother & son duo Madisen Ward and Mama Bear, who we saw on CBS Sunday Morning just a couple of weeks ago. The Ryman is surrounded by many clubs with live music, eats and filled with ...

Woke up feeling a little rough, so went for some food in the bar next door to the hostel. To my surprise, Jessica needed a Coke and stood in a long line to make her purchase. From outside of the gift shop I tried to lip to her that she most likely would have to get rid of the pop before going on the backstage tour. She didn’t understand me and so I went in and advised her instead of shouting over the crowd. With a pout she put ...

... secret" concert is. Later, we found out it was a private event that we had crashed. It was definately a different setting than we were used to, and we were slightly disappointed in the band.

Making our way down Broadway to scope out the other talent, The Stage was a place we were familiar with from our last visit, but we were getting a little winded so called it an early night.
Come Monday morning, we were due for ...
