... found a best buy who didn't stock our SIM card we needed. Tried a target, who had it, but as we learned would not fit our iPhone 5! So we had to pick something which then wouldn't scan. The lovely guy tried everything to get it to work but no luck so sent us to an AT&T store. There we met the lovely Christy, who was amazing and helped us set everything up. She was so nice and even gave us a recommendation for dinner. After setting our phones up we set off to find ...

Big day today. And I mean B-I-G.

We had arrived at our campground in Kingsburg, CA, yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. It was only a one hour drive from the Cummins repair shop. As per our routine on this trip, we haven't made any advance reservations. We search the internet for a campground close to where we want to be that night. However, being 4th of July weekend, we were pushing our luck to find a place with ...

Ok, here's the thing. Was yesterday frustrating? Yes! Did we sit on the side of the road for 8 hours? Yes! But here is the blessing.... We had a generator for air conditioning, a tv for entertainment, food, water and a glimpse of hope that our coach would be fixed and back on the road by today. I can tell you, I'm quite proud of my hubby. The breakdown didn't crack him. The 8 hours by the side of the road didn't crack him. The over night stay at the repair shop didn't ...

... was pushing a buggy with a kid in it too!!! We hopped on a cable car at the next stop and rode it to Fisherman’s Wharf which was fun. I was a bit disappointed by Fisherman’s Wharf. It had the potential to be a beautiful, lively place on the waterfront but somehow just felt a bit like Blackpool. There were lots of restaurants offering Dungeness crab and clam chowder served in sourdough. However, the guy on the cable car told us that a ...
