    A little more New Orleans

A travel blog entry by akgraff on Jul 07, 2015

... found a Lululemon and did a little shopping. Tami took me to get an english donut, (beignet) which is a must try. We took a little nap after that. After getting some much needed rest, we headed to Poppy's Crazy Lobster for some more local fare - red beans and rice for Tami and some gumbo for me. ... We quickly worked out why our seats (a bit beyond first base) were available for our last minute booking. We had a great view but had little chance to catch a foul ball from there. The crowds behind first base, and along the outer diamond edge, saw many balls coming their way and whoever got their hands on it, got to keep it. I reckon the crowd got about 30 balls as keepsakes. We were surprised at the way the ref behind home plate kept ...
