... to walk through each coach and dream. Some of the dreams were fantastic and some were only so-so. We did find one that we really liked and checked off about 95% of our wants. ... After the tour we looked at the space artefacts and watched a few movies/documentaries. There isn't as much to see and do at the center compared to Kennedy so we left at about 3pm a little disappointed (spoiled perhaps at going to Kennedy first). For dinner we got some Chinese food and called it a night. The Chinese good wasn't that good - Sam had Mongolian Chicken (lots of onion) and I had sweet and sour pork (too sweet, or not enough sour ...
... for us and whisked us to the car and we were onto I-94 by 10 PM. Good drive to Port Huron, gas fill up, Duty Free stop, nobody in line at Customs and we are back in Canada without incident.
In the time we were away we travelled 1721 miles in our Chevy Equinox. We saw some beautiful scenery and had fun biking, hiking and golfing . Wonderful memories!!
Home Sweet Home!
Just a few parting ...
... headed to a different campground. This one was Eastlake (owned by the same company), but this one was closer to the airport and the place we needed to drop off Sparky for repairs while we are away. Since these places only allow one night at a discounted rate we couldn’t just stay in the same place both nights. Both seem exactly the same with only minor variations in layout. The nice amenities make up for the uninteresting layout and include free popcorn, gym, pool table, ...
... The best was he didn't like being too far behind and would trot to the lead so it was a bit better than walking the whole time. Wrangler walked at his own pace and we tended to stop for him and Louise to catch up. We had a ball and we were chuffed we could do it. On our trail we went past our lake and waved to the boys fishing.
