Tuesday arrived before our jet lagged bodies could not work it out. The instant coffee served at breakfast did not quite do the trick but was enough to get us moving.
Rodeo drive baby was our first stop - (reference Pretty Woman). After a stroll along what appeared to be a lot of money we noted very few people shopping. Many a Porsche, Maserati, BMW, Mercedes, Bentley, black Suburbans with the darkest of tint were noted but ...
... for some reason. Three very cool things happened.
First, I got hit on by the „guy from The Rocky Horror Picture Show"
Second- we went to a.... mall? I think it was a mall? Anyway, there was Hot Topic. And the kid working there (he couldnīt have been older than 20) started talking to me, asking me where Iīm from etc... Turns out his parents came to America from Czechoslovakia! Yay
And finally- something that ...
... drawings, contemporary and classic sculpture, photographs, China and porcelain, furniture ...and the BEST 360 view of LA including coastlines. Truly spectacular.
Of course true to form, The Naughty One wanted to be touchy freely with some of the exhibits - it was just a little caress of the marble - but the gallery staff were onto her in a flash. And can you believe it - out went the hand in the next gallery and yep, chastised again.

Also when we were at the office the check-in lady noticed that Andrew's visa expired in June. What?! We were so confused as we were told we had 6 months when stamped as we entered the States. We worked out that the customs officer had stamped Andrew's passport with the visa waiver stamp instead of the B2 tourist stamp, as mine had been stamped. Next hassle to deal with! After researching the internet ...
... And the last play...well, you no doubt all have your private pain over that, so I won't rehash it. Suffice it to say that we were outraged and stunned for a few hours (all while kids in the campground were running around hooraying over Tom Brady and how awesome he is). And I did go over my data allowance. So it goes.
Now on to something more fun...sightseeing in LA. The first step was to drop Rex off at the Hollywood PetSmart for boarding. This was something new on this ...
