... off with our coffee, sitting outside enjoying the sound of the wind in the trees. We take the boys for their morning walk and I get some pictures of the park and our site. Guenther is washing our motorhome. While driving we have all kinds of bugs hitting the windshield. The carnage is terrible.

After breakfast we head out for a drive to see what the lake looks like. The area around here is sparsely populated with many trailer homes scattered here and there. It ...

Even the glasses of water were over-sized. So, with even a generous tip, we were out of there for under $15. That means we can eat at more expensive places other times and not feel guilty (not that we would anyway). When we get ...

We took a drive over to Sikeston to check out the "world renowned" home of the throwed rolls - Lambert's Restaurant. It's a huge building - the business has been in operation since 1942, and I had my first ever tastes of black eyed peas, sorghum molasses (on fresh, hot, "throwed" rolls, of course), and turnip greens, too! All were just ok - but my pork steak was might fine!
