Texans are strangely trusting (or uncaring) as there are no guard rails anywhere, which I appreciate would ruin the effect of the water features, but it’s not a short drop down, and it’s all made of stone so if you fell off you would be in serious trouble.     ... unexpected driving challenge. But it really was a nice place to stay. Very clean, lovely staff, a pool and hot top on site, exactly what we wanted for our two nights there. It was well situated as well, lots of places to eat around us!

    The day started when Dan announced that we were going to go and find some of the local geocaches that Sam had looked up online the night before. For those who are not aware, geocaching is a fun little pastime in which people who have no friends use a GPS to find "caches" left by other people with no friends.
