So we did only 200 miles today and we have stopped for the night in Evanston, WY. It is about 6 miles from the Utah border. The mountains finally got pretty and greener around Green River. Again we saw a lot of antelope as we drove along. Little America was our lunch stop... Just a truck stop.. But with 75 cent ice ...
... here we are going through Coalville and it is a total contrast. Still mountains skirt the town but there is a gorgeous stream weaving its way through. There is heaps of greenery and the houses are huge. Lovely little town. Coming into Salt Lake City now, it's 7:30pm. I can see why the Winter Olympics was held here, it's so pretty. ... 30 semis already parked there and about 10 MHs. Everyone was parked this way and that and it was impossible to see where I could park safely. So, I tried something new again. This evening, for the first time on this trip, I am staying at a hotel. Feels so good. The wind has me whipped.
The next several days include nights in Wells and Winnemucca, NV, and arriving in Reno on July 2 or 3 where I can park the MH at Blair's over the July 4 holiday.
