... My Friends doesn't look that close to Demopolis, so maybe I misunderstood. I'll try to recap today's events, but my calls kept getting dropped so I'm not clear about everything. Also, I don't think any pictures were taken today and for that I am VERY sorry.
The engine was running hot and they cleaned the thermostat to no avail. New spark plugs didn't help much either, even though they were dirty. The plugged lines ...
Changed plugs after 21hrs running at 0300.
Engine overheated after 22.5 hours runninng (0515) changed water pump impellar. Did not fix problem. 0650 decided to remove thermostat. Therm stat appears to be clogged. 0725 removed thermostat. Gonna run w/o thermostat till we get to Demopolis Marina. At least that's the plan.

... I think they plan to motor into the night, if not all night, to make it there.
I've pinned their location at 8:00pm tonight using my iPhone and Find My Friends. Ain't technology great?! But I have nothing else to report so maybe tomorrow we'll get some photos to show how the locks work.
