... We had a yummy dinner, and then walked through the woods to the cafe area so we could use the wifi (yes, we are all that addicted!). Back in the cabin we played the card game BS and iPhone charades (love Steffanie's Heart impression - Barracuda!).

Breakfast on the back porch, then on to a hike on Yellow Rock Trail (3.5 miles). We asked advice on where to hike from a young lady at the visitors' center - ...

Up very early for flight from Jackson to DFW then home. Girls are getting dropped off in St Louis at their Dad's then Charley is home to Dublin. Hopefully their travel will be ok. Delta is trying to make it diff. Some tears shed and the Memo wave at the airport. Great vacation and perfect family to travel with. I am a very blessed man. We made it home safe. Quite the adventure and a wonderful trip. Glad to be ...

... I love the climb. I think I love it more than the flat roads. After that initial 7 miles, it was mostly rollers (rolling hills where you mostly coast and do a little climbing) and flats. It turned into a brutal, hot afternoon. My tan line, by the way, is horrible; I look absolutely ridiculous. Rode all afternoon by myself. At lunch Alicia and I talked with Annie, and inspired her to ride alone. I stopped at a gas station around mile 60 and Annie and Sam are ...

... juice tasting. I also enjoyed getting to name drop-wine places love UC Davis. As a recent grad, this pleases me. I trekked through most of the day with Taylor and Lorraine, who gave me encouraging words in times of need and helped me up those climbs when I was feeling pretty fatigued from last night. We pushed through and made it ...
