Peeling, flaking, rundown. It's 2 star at best but more likely one star. The front desk girl was very friendly and helpful though

... deciding that we should cancel Friday and stay in a cheap motel in Denver before reviewing the situation again the following evening/morning. We were both relatively happy with this as it meant we weren’t going straight back to camping.

We drove out to find food and perhaps a drink. We stopped at a bar called Mint that Charlotte had found as it was apparently an old fashioned cowboy bar. It was pretty cool inside exactly as you would expect and not ...

On From Yellowstone

07-08-12 Pack up and move on day today.  We managed to get ourselves out of the campground around 9am. We weren't able to stop in any of the other national forests or parks we drove through - I was dying to get out and hike for a few hours, but we had to forge on! My big surprise of the day was seeing an Etzel as one of the ...

At one point we came over a hill and rode past two cows grazing by a barb wire fence, both looking very suspicious. I am almost certain that just before we came over the hill, they had been standing upright, leaning on the fence, drinking cocktails and smoking cigarettes.

... am still enthralled.

Our day was filled with the many wonders of the Big Horn Canyon National Recreational Area. The most notable aspect of the Big Horn River was not that it has been dammed, but that it is full and fast - still flowing and often with white water above the plant line due to the spring rains. We expected brown hills, but we have the crazy-green hues of a Washington, DC ...
