... feel of interstate 64 from Charlottesville to Richmond in Virginia. Rolling hills with green grasses, deciduous trees, and angus grazing in the pastures. I was grateful to have anything, other than desert, to look at. We pulled into a rest area just shy of the Arkansas line for the night. I will say, the long days of driving across the desert were not my favorite. Glad to be in the green!

According to the book there are a few places which would be cool to check we decide to concentrate on those. Just riding 66 to ride it may be nice....but we're racing the clock.
