... drops on this drive, terrifying at some points. We did notice that there were a lot of bikers up and down the road too, we put this down to it being a popular stretch of road to drive though.

We then pulled into Oatman and soon realised why we had seen so many bikers. It appears that its Bike Week in Oatman and there were literally hundreds of bikers in the town. See photos just to get an idea of that scale. Oatman is brilliant ...

Diane and I headed out to Lake Havasu City for the 5th annual hot air balloon festival. We stopped at the Wal-Mart to get a new camera, since I dropped my old one while traveling.   I was a lot bigger than I thought it would be.  Lots of really nice vendors.  We didn't get there until 11am, so obviously missed the 6am blood launch.  They were going up again at 4pm, but we were heading back to Fort Mohave by 3pm.   I bought ...

... It came about as a result of two dams being built along the Colorado River. This was a good tour to take - short, inexpensive and extremely interesting. Too bad it turned cloudy and on the cool side. Since we both were wearing shorts and tee’s the wind on the water was a bit chilling. The sunset tonight was dramatic. There have been several incredible sunsets this week - all different from each other.
