      We stopped by the Welcome/Visitor Center for Colorado and it was very welcoming, refreshing (103 degrees outside) and informative. We figured out the miles we still had to travel to get to Oregon and got some ideas of interesting things to do in CO but what we really wanted was to get to Conifer to see our friends Randy, Barbara, Ryan, Kayla and their dog Oreo.

      ... proudly proclaiming the last name of the family who lives there.

      The Dala herd is found all through Lindsborg, but we only strolled Main Street stopping and reading the various Dala plaques as we went. Most Dalas are created by someone in honor of someone else. The names can be quite hilarious, and the art work is phenomenal. We didn't take pictures of all that we saw, but we did snap a few of the ones we liked best.
