... has nice fixtures and fittings. The hotel offers a standard quality free breakfast and has a very small basic gym and pool. The location is close to downtown LA but is clearly in an underdeveloped area- the local firefighters even warned us about walking around at night (which we never did).
    $46 pppn.

So after getting some sleep we got breakfast at the hotel. There were bagels, muffins, cereal and a waffle ...

... quickly checked our baggage. Checked in, and had lunch before looking for and locating our cabin. We are travelling on NCR and our stateroom is excellent - large room with a balcony, which is a surprise, as most cabins I have had in the past have been exceedingly small.
We quickly stowed our things and found ourselves a spot to watch the launch and our progress out of the LA harbour. Of course many photos were taken to commemorate this ...

... again weaved back down and into the city traffic. Slowly we made it to the the main drag, the Hollywood walk of fame. Bright neons flashed, people yelled and cameras flashed. Part of the road was closed and traffic was backed up. It was manic. Police were directing traffic every which way and when we finally crossed the main road we could see that there was something premiering at the Chinese Theatre. We found a part relatively close but had to pay $20 for the ...
