... couldn't do that as his hospitality had been grand and we didn't want to take advantage of his good nature, and to pay our way. 6:30 am start hopefully to beat the wind and any storms coming through later. Glad to see the last of Oklahoma. Stopped in Rolla, MO. So far we've missed the rain. ... This was a nice small place and it being after 9:30 we were the only customers. I ordered an egg Philly-steak breakfast sandwich and Joe an egg wrap. We also ordered coffees-which we both were craving. Both the food and the coffee were great! We headed off to the iconic Gateway Arch - built in the 1960's.
