          ... is just over an hour and we plan to leave after lunch. Our "quarters" here are more than adequate. Lynn worked hard with the owner/manager to get us a good weekly deal. Good work, Lynn!

          ... with good food. Then we went food shopping again.

          Lynn made pasties. Our niece, Stacy, couldn't make it, due to car problems. The four of us had an excellent meal. The pasties were delicious. We left several for them to eat after we've gone.

          Today, Monday, we drove north, about an hour, to Blue Ridge, where we had spent a summer in 1971. Here we boarded the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad, for a foliage tour. ...

          ... south and are now camped in Cartersville, Georgia. In a short while we will go out for dinner to celebrate Jayne's birthday. Her first birthday request was not to have to cook dinner (which is being granted), her second request was to take the Interstate for a change, but after 50 miles she found a quieter route parallel to I-75 and avoiding all the heavy traffic...and had to admit it's not so bad.

          ... and tolerable position to lie in. so the sleep in and empty bed was greatly appreciated, thanks jorja! Unluckily for Jorja though, while we all slept and recovered all day lounging around, she was in Newnan equally as sore and achy, but had to ride 8 horses and tend to their needs. so not only did she say she struggled to get onto the horse, but the bumpy rides weren't appreciated. Oh well, her day sucked not mine, doesn't voter me ;) he he he it ...
