In a couple of hours we'll be leaving Holland to begin the first leg of our journey. Somehow leaving on September 11 feels appropriate because, as tragic as it was, this day above all others reminds me of the strength and courage of Americans, both now and in those early days of the founding of the original colonies.

There won't be much to comment on for the first couple of days. We'll be stopping in Columbus, ...

        ... both of us…

When we arrived on the lot, it was drizzling rain and Alex was wearing his rain suit to park us. Since it was laundry day and we felt no need to rush out of there in the rain to load up the Excursion, we set an alarm and went back to bed.

our show and loved that John was a clown. It was fitting that the bouquet of flowers
the circus sent to her visitation were the same flowers that went to her
gravesite. She was an honorary member of our circus family and the ...

... delicious for a true Italian coffee lover!)then to Oakland NE, Dave and Judy's street, revisiting after almost 20 yrs., a leafy street in a mixed area of 50-70 year old single family homes. Prices here would range from $80,000 (2 bedroom, 1 bathroom) to $200,000 (4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms) with good sized lots and nice gardens, so considerably less expensive than Ellen's area, in the commuter-belt near DC. Housing in Grand Rapids would ...

... br> Hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight, I really need a good nights sleep. Tomorrow is a big day for me, a day where I will start a new journey. A journey that will take away a lot of my comforts here at home. I will miss being able to talk to my family and friends whenever I want. I am looking forward to being in a different country, especially a country that I do not speak ...
