We awoke early this morning so we got up and got on the road by 6:45 am. We left under cloudy skies with a drizzly rain that turned heavy off and on for the first three hours. In an attempt to avoid as many tolls as possible, we traveled out I-70 to I-68 into West Virginia passing Sideling Hill and Cheat Lake along the way.
Once into Pennsylvania on I-79 we hopped off the interstate to take a look at the Hughes Bridge, a covered bridge built in 1889 on a side ...

When I got to Roya's around 3 in the morning, I crawled into her bed, told her about my trip, and then passed ...
... basket! I thought it was just the coolest thing that I've been wanting to see it and my route today just happened to take me past it!
When I got to her house, I let myself in and Bosco (one of her dogs) was SO happy to see me. I was clobbered with puppy hugs and got slobbery kisses all over my face. Roya and I caught up for a bit and then headed out to dinner at the Mellow Mushroom down the street from her apartment. Beer + spinach artichoke dip + ...
