... are great hikers! We also spent an hour at the after hours animal hospital with our million-dollar puppy (Anna). Something is going on with her eye. Not sure if she injured it or has an object in it... Have meds and may need to see Tippy's vet in Litchfield. We had some fun out on the paddle boards too...I'm not brave enough to take a camera on the water yet. We also had a spectacular sunset... Followed by some elk stew and a lovely ...
... beautiful.... The course, not my thing work :) We tried a LOTO restaurant we've never been to before....Baxter's on the Lake. It was really good! As you can see by the photos, the girls are turning into great camp-pups. Yesterday, all the new sights, smells and sounds had them a little crazy.... Much better ...
Note to ourselves, from 435 out of KC, take Hwy 50 all the way to Hwy 5. Nice wide, smooth road!! We found a really nice campsite, lakeside, at LOTO State Park (site 162). The park is really beautiful, leaves are just changing, park staff super nice (especially Pearl :) ). We decided we really like the name Pearl...would like a grand- daughter to be named Pearl.
