Well it's the first day being temporarily unemployed. Feels weird knowing I won't be going back to the hospital to work. Got a lot accomplished. My passport arrived finally. We got the hitch installed and the trailer reserved. We got to spend the morning with sweet friends and their 12 horses and numerous cats. Had a blast feeding carrots and apples to the horses. Took a family vacation to Gatlinburg, TN!! Don't have many pics on this computer but it's wonderful there. We stayed in a huge cabin. The scenery is out of this world. Pigeon Forge is great! ... to do in Pigeon Forge, we should have pancakes for dinner! Unfortunately, we found out that pancake places all closed at 2-3pm. (You would think tourists would want pancakes at 1am after riding on crazy go karts?! Maybe its time for me to go into business...). After some searching, we found a place called "The Diner" in Sevierville that served all day breakfast. It was pretty good pancakes and we left full ...

... a lot of rubber from tires lying around. Given the size of some of those things, we figure these must be coming from 18-wheelers, and, for safety, have decided to not linger behind those trucks any longer than is necessary.

Swimming update: Noah's swimming across the pool without a safety ring, and while only wearing his arm floaters.

    More pictures tomorrow most likely.
