Thanks to Malissia Stone we had a celebratory dinner at Red Robin last night. The guys were in heaven with the burgers and bottomless fries! ... the movies, been to one of Emery's soccer games on a Wednesday night!, attended a Lacrosse banquet dinner, Honors Night at the Junior High, helped to lay the floor for Sophie's dance recital, attended the dance recital, a couple graduation Open Houses and the end of year soccer awards. ... square with their name on it. Kirk was given a beautiful stole made up of all the Confessions the church had been working through all year and I was given a lovely Prayer Shawl. So kind and thoughtful. Our squares will be traveling with us as we journey this summer.

... a row. The second one was off of an alley oop from Gishamo. The crowd was getting so hype as people now lined the sidewalk watching the game lol. Someone on our team started a Muzunga (white person) chant.. the entire moment was so surreal. We played until dark, which seemed like forever.

By the end I was beyond exhausted, I was dehydrated and hungry and we had just had a long day. Benjamin suggested that we go get a beer (this sounded like a bad idea) but ...

... there! Going to the Alps reminded me of how
much I enjoy the region, winter or summer, and rekindled my desire to
further explore the region at a later date. Thanks for hanging out
with me for the trip, nothing is planned overseas until Sandy and I
take another Rick Steves tour at the end of May to Croatia and
Slovenia, but you never know, something may brew up before then!!
