... the grounds at this place. All 200 plus acres of it. The house had 40 servants on staff at all times, has 40 bathrooms and a bunch of other stuff. It boggles the mind, to say the least. All this opulence for just 3 people. Yeppers thats the amount of folks that lived here. I was told that they entertained a lot tho. That justifies things, I guess. Who built it ?? ... It was incredibly steep with switchback following switchback. For the first mile you had the mountain on your side which was comforting. For the second half, you had a steep drop and sudden stop. No guardrail. I did the run down in second gear, regretting every once of extra weight on Judy Too. She a heavy girl to swing around those tight turns.
