... so organised the cutting through the rocks to form this beautiful scenic route. The main part took approximately 20 Years to complete but was finally finished in the 70's. ... It was incredibly steep with switchback following switchback. For the first mile you had the mountain on your side which was comforting. For the second half, you had a steep drop and sudden stop. No guardrail. I did the run down in second gear, regretting every once of extra weight on Judy Too. She a heavy girl to swing around those tight turns.
