Did you know that.....Niagara Falls is actually the name of 2 towns; 1 in NY & the other in Ontario. And then, the actual falls in New York is called the American Falls (including Bridal Veil Falls); while the Canadian falls are called Horseshoe Falls. Niagara River is 180' deep; 180' cliff. Today was another driving day as at 11am we gave a sad (yet triumphant) farewell to Cedar Point. We left the hotel this morning and got into the van once again for a fun filled day of driving with some sightseeing tacked onto the end. The drive was pretty uneventful but we were heading to one of the most iconic points on the trip, Niagara Falls. ... around the edge of the windows numbered so they can keep track while it moves. The observation deck is above the restaurant and it is extremely cold and windy out especially in a good dress and heels. We ended up taking the bus back to the hotel and getting changed and heading down to the edge of the river to get a good vantage point for the fireworks. That again was amazing in its own way, seeing the falls ligand the fireworks going off overhead with the lights of the town ...
