... burger and Becky went straight to Hollister! So with one full tummy and one new pair of shorts we went back 'home' and kicked back for an American TV evening. Bay News 9 is my new favourite local news channel! We also heard the sad news about Robin Williams, and the latest on all the unrest in the Middle East, Ukraine and Iraq, all a bit heavy stuff as we turned our thoughts to going to Sea World the next morning. ...

... all getting better at living out of suitcases. Car loaded, we were on the road by 8am, not bad at all. Next job was to find somewhere for a drive through breakfast. I won't say where we ended up! Busch Gardens was easy to find and we got there bang on time for opening. We were transported from the Parking Lot to the entrance on a bendy bus trailer type thingy, typical of American Theme Parks. Having prepaid tickets we walked straight through. Well, nearly. ...

It was a long, noisy night, but we were dreaming of roller coasters as we were off to Busch Gardens first thing tomorrow. ...

... on the first round. We completely stuffed ourselves. So what better thing to do after eating a huge meal than to go on a roller coaster? We rode Expedition Everest two more times...back to back. We would have ridden more, but we had a show to catch before park closing. Festival of the Lion King...this is probably the best show on property. The music and performances are so colorful and moving. A couple of the singers seemed a little off here and there, but overall, ...

    Withlacoochee to Lakeland

... down to the boat ramp for a rather lovely kayak around Silver Lake. Saw turtles and the usual bird life. Setting off about 2pm and making the compulsory stop at Walmart we arrived in Lakeland which is the usual sprawling American town and found the Best Motel. Not bad at all for the money and the staff are lovely. Dinner, tv, nothing biting me and pumpkin pie coming up. Hey and it's dark outside and we're still ...
